Once the Parts Viewer has been loaded the default screen will appear as shown here. The first thing to be done on this screen is to select the 'Model' tab in the upper left corner that's noted by the arrow in the image.

Here is the screen presented after choosing the 'Model' tab. The next step from here is to choose the appropriate Manufacturer from the 'Select OEM' drop-down box. In this example, Simplicity will be the manufacturer selected.

The third screen is basically the same as 'Screen 2' above. The only difference is that the page has been refreshed with the catalog of the selected manufacturer, in this case, Simplicity. The next step is to enter the model number of the equipment in the 'Model Name/Number' box to retrieve the correct parts illustrations. For this example the model number '1691234' is used.

The fourth screen shows the results of the search. The amount of information you provide in the search will determine how many results are produced. Since the model number in this example was exact, only one result was returned. The results will be displayed in the left frame. Clicking on a result will display that equipments available illustrations in the right frame.

The final screen is the result of selecting one of the available illustrations in the right frame of the previous screen. A new window is opened with the selected illustration appearing on the right and all remaining illustrations will be displayed in the left frame. Once you have the illustration you need, clicking on any of the part numbers displayed will select it and also display and highlight it's information in the lower frame. From that lower frame you can click on 'Add To Cart' and a small popup will appear allowing you to confirm the selection.
Simply repeat the process until all required parts have been added to your cart. Once finished, close the viewer window and select 'Shopping Cart' at the top of the previous screen to begin the checkout process. Should you have any questions along the way please give us a call. We'd be glad to help guide you through the process.
Step 1: Check Internet Explorer Security Level:
Open your Internet Explorer browser and select "Tools" from the top menu bar and then "Internet Options". Then select the Security Tab. Then pick "Internet" (click on the globe) and then click on the button "default level". The security should be set to Medium in order for the Parts Viewer page to display.
Conclusion:
The Parts Viewer page opens like a pop up and needs to be Medium Security, if already set to Medium and still not working properly, proceed to the next step.
Step 2: Check Pop Up Blocker Settings:
Since the Parts Viewer page opens as a pop up application the Pop Up Blocker may need to be 'disabled' or altered to permit access to the website address.
Conclusion:
Pop Up Blockers should be disabled when using the Parts Viewer. If you do not have a Pop Up Blocker or you already disabled it, and it is still not working properly, proceed to the next step.
Step 3: Check Antivirus Protection Settings:
We have had a few cases of an Antivirus program blocking users from opening the viewer. Move your mouse to the lower right corner of the PC by the computer's clock and locate your Antivirus software. Right click on the icon. Select the option to disable it temporarily. (When you reboot the PC it will restore that setting back to "on").
Conclusion:
Antivirus security levels or Firewalls can block Websites, you may need to temporarily disable them while using the site. If it is still not working properly, proceed to the next step.
Step 4: Check Firewall Settings:
If you have an internal firewall, set it to permit access to the web address of the Parts Viewer - www.smallenginepartswarehouse.com/parts.asp
Conclusion:
Your firewall needs to permit access to the Parts Viewer page.
